Welcome to Week 3 of the DONOVANS Toastie Challenge! Our next contenders are taking you through your Easter long weekend and ANZAC Day.
We’re almost halfway now, and after an impressive performance by Warrick and Adam last week, it’s time for Jimmy and Jess to dough off their creations.
Jimmy is bringing the beef with his Mex Pulled Beef toastie, featuring tender pulled beef paired with creamy guacamole, zesty salsa, melted Swiss cheese, and crispy fried onion rings for a bold, flavourful bite.
Meanwhile, Jess is doing a twist on the old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly: Satay chicken with a kick of chilli jam, fresh coriander, cool cucumber ribbons, and a touch of aioli, all balanced with a creamy peanut butter spread for an unforgettable twist on a classic.
Either option is served deli-style, with a side of potato crisps, shaved manchego cheese and a pickle. They’re guaranteed to add some spice to your life!
